« on: May 05, 2008, 04:32:41 pm »
I made these a while ago, they were originally for me and my friends on the Cabal forums (cabal is a MMO by the way) so since most of you guys are experts at this stuff, i thought i would see what you guys thought of them.

there not all that good, i know. I'm still very new to this.

Your use of light lines to define things is blowing my mind  It looks interesting, weird, maybe in a bad way but I'm not sure.
Either way, it's best to use surfaces instead of lines to define forms.

The faces on the 2 guys really aren't doing it for me, either. Girl looks pretty good though :)

Also, you're banding the skin a lot  :'( Big no-no.
Oh yes naked women are beautiful
But I like shrimps more haha ;)

I agree with what Sherman Gill said about the green. It's a cool effect, but makes some of the more detailed look... confusing. It works nicely on the guy in the middle because his clothing doesn't have as much detail, but for the other two it's a bit distracting. I'm not sure, but I think that you might be able to partially fix this by toning down the brightness on the smaller details.
