My only concern about this coloring is that you made the dragon's feet finger look like a carrot

The left foot (or it's feet? I really dunno, my english still need improvements) of the dragon looks wrong if you compare to the other one, it should be plain like a platform game, or make the other foot like the left one...

No and yes.

I've been pixeling for roughly 4 years, but not in this style. And I never tried working with someone elses lines either. (which I really, really like by the way)
Also, I am kind of proud of it ^^;
If I give proper credit to the line artist, can I post it at deviantART?

(by the way: I don't like pink)

But I kind of like deviantART. Due to my style almost every other place has banned me. (well, not pixeljoint... but most forums and art communities)... so my portfolio is there for the time being. (will be moving over to my own website soon).

I can't post in the dolls section at Eden Enchanted anymore and Sheezyart wouldn't let me place anything in the pixel art section anymore.
Because of my scratchy style they seem to think I am a regular oekaki artist x.x

Gotta agree with Bugguy, really nice lines. I didn't know what the hell I was doing, so I just had at it. It was really fun and I spent way more time than I should have. 14 colors including transparency.

While there are parts that could use some fixing, I kinda like how you colored it.

Thanks! I really liked the design, so I had to give it a shot. I have decided that if I am going to color someone else's lineart, I better bring some to the table. I thus present you with the most emo robot ever. I would say don't break his heart, but someone else already took it, so yeah...

Feel free to mess with the lines and accessorize as you wish, as that is half the fun of making a robot.

I'm new at Pixelation and also in the whole pixel art actually (been doing it for something like half a year now). Anyway, I saw this thread and desided to try coloring something. So I selected surt's alien thing and this is what came up to:

In my humble opinion, I managed to do it pretty well since I'm really not very good at pixel art (Yet!

). The shading is probably crappy and especially the weapon sucks.

The lineart is awesome! Was fun trying to color it.

-birkka- Glad you decided to color my lineart! Came out really well, especially for one of your first posts. Some things I would suggest would be work on your aa, and watch out for the depth you create when you shade something a certain way. I say that because if you look at the line in his head, it looks like it could dip in because of the way you shaded it. Also, try to avoid using too much black in a piece. In this particular instance, a few dark grays would have worked nicely. Other then that, a good start, no doubt!
