Hmm he looks like he is moving like a worm (shrink-expand-shrink-expand...). Maybe because at that size i can not tell the difference between his legs.
have u seen any references for the running cycle? there are many on this forum.

Maybe make the hair bounce and move. The stillness of it sticks out to me. The feet look pretty neat at that size, but they also could change shape, so he lifts his heel first, then toes.

I like it, it would further be enhanced by the face turning slightly from side to side.
